Wellness

"Take care of your body. Its the only place you have to live." Jim Rohn

Im currently reading a book entitled "The Pennington Plan: 5 Simple Steps for Achieving Vibrant Health, Emotional Well-Being and Spiritual Growth" by Andrea Pennington, M.D. C.A.C with Abigail Pennington, M.D.

The book focuses on achieving "Wellness". The authors' key point is that we are all, from birth, at a state of wellness, where as we are in a "joyful state in which spirit, mind, and body are vibrant and active." Any illness or sickness that we encounter that changes or state of wellness is from some negative energy/habit that we have inherently learned. The authors speak about common sufferings of depression, disorders, and illness, and attempts to teach the reader how to overcome the three to ultimately achive WELLNESS in life and all that we do!

It makes sense to me. A balance of mental, physical, and spiritual sounds like enough to keep one floating through life on a natural cloud. So far its a good read. The author calls for the keeping of a journal as you read, to capture your thoughts, inspirations, dreams, and desires (You know I'm a fan of that) With our everyday lives, we can get so busy going through the motions we can forget about what our ultimate desire or purpose in life is. I think its a good idea to stop and analyze your situation, and often. I am a big believer in setting a plan, so when we get off track we have something to steer back to.

Do you have a plan? If not, I encourage you to make one TODAY!!!
